Mr Hulked property, and maintain same in future. —Rdpolved, that the offer of the Egmont Roard Board with regard to division of the lower end of Corbett roau be agreed to. . GENERAL. The chairman reported thai only one tender had been received for the supply of metal for repairs to Te Arei anil Brown roads, and as the price (7a per yard) was considered too high it had been declined. Mr Connett reported he had arranged with Mr Cartwright to undertake the above work for 5s 9d per yard on Te Arei road, and 7s per yard on lirown jipad. The clerk was directed to notify Mr. Caitwright that 40 yards of metal were J required on Brown road and 185 on l'e Arei road. Mr. ti. Mall attended, and stated he had been unable to get suitable timber for badges, but he hoped to have the repairs finished by next meeting. Mr. F. LownSborougU was a[)]winted collccter at the Wortley road toll-gate. Surfaceman T. Paul reported he hail teen engaged during the past month in grading the Richmond, Aekworth, .Uanutahi, Eltham, Tate, Pennington., Lqjperton, and Huirangi cemetery roads. Surfaceman W. Palmer reported that the culvert on Matarikoriko road had been tiinished, and approaches to bridges on York road cleared. Sonj(e sbralv; stock had been impounded from district roads.

Accounts amounting to C 52 were pas*?d for payment, and the Board rose.
