A meeting of the Carringtou ltoad Card Cluli was held .m Monday night, at the residence of the secretary, Mr. W. Taylor. The subscription was lixed at 2> (id. It wadecided to present trophies at th,> close of Iho season to players showing the ber-t average at euchre and erililiage respectively, players to play thirty games of euchre or twenty of cribbage to cpialify. The first inter-cluh game locally lakes place to-night, when Carringlon-road and Avenue-road will try conclusions at Mr. liichards' lonise, Avenue-road.
