After the concert slipper was handed round, and was much appreciated. Then the room was cleared for dancing, which was kept going uutil early on Thursday morning. Jlr. William ilarvev acted as MX'., while the music was supplied by Miss Harrison nnd others. The concert proceeds amounted to C 4 10s. During the evening Master and Miss Rooks gave a sword dance, which was well worth seeing.
A football practice was held at Okato on Saturday. A farewell social will he tendered Mr and Mrs. Clcraanee and family at Pttniho about the end of this month. A rille match was fired on Easter Monday for a watch and chain. The weather was line, and there was a large number present Seventen competed. Mr. J. A. Colmer proved the winner. The rille dub's annual meeting was held on Saturday evening. There were about 20 member present. Mr. C. H. King (president) was in the chair. The
balance sheet was read and adopted.
