Orellana. j for New Zealand. j STEAMER SHORT OF COAL. Melbourne, Monday. The steamer Mirairo ran short of coal after passing Afbanv. She had to burn wood fittings and ilia) tins of kerosene from the cargo in order to reach port. The Muritai arrived at the breakwater yesterday morning and loaded a cargo of cattle and sheep. She sailed at 3 p.m. for Onehunga. The Federal-Houlder-Shire liner Surrey is due to load frozen meat in the WVrtara roadstead this week.
