£XULJSH TEAM'S VISIT. Dunedin, l-ast Night. At a meeting of the Otago Uugle. Pooflball Union to-night, the ipiestiou of playing three test matches .igainst tin English team -was discussed. Mr. B. 1L Isaacs, of the Xrw Zealand Union, said the management committee of the governing body was still open to receive a suggestion as to any itinerary that would give as little trouble u possible to the visitors. If three test Batches were played, the New Zealand players would require seven weeks' leave, unless all the tests were flayed in the one place. The players Mould have to assemble at least ten; days before the first test. If the Otago delegates could map out a satisfactory itinerary, the management committee Of the New Zealand Union would yet make arrangements for three tests. At a meeting of the Referees' Association last night the following referees were appointed for Thursday's matches : —Seniors—Clifton I. v. Inglewood 1.. at Waitara. Mr. Proctor; Star I. v. Tukapa 1.. Mr. G. Griffiths; Eltham I y v. Stratford 1., at Eltham, Mr. SpuMle. First juniors—Clifton v. Inglewood. "Mr Khell; Star v. Tukapa, Mr. Hopkins; Eltham v. Stratford, Mr. Spindle. I Second Juniors—Star v. Tukapa. Mr. Bochj Stratford v. Eltham. Mr. Way?
