Upon the recommendation of the inspectors, the Boa Til decided to amend regulation 11 of the Board's senior scholarship regulations, so that, instead of the candidates having a wide choice of subjects, they 1«- reipiired to come up for examination m the following sulijeets of the Junior Civil Service examination:—l.atin. English, mathematics, arithmetic, and science.
The Department forwarded a suggestion that the Board direct the atten tion of teachers and committees to the danger from fire caused by allowing a growth of gras. clo.e to the building, and added a note that the Inspectors should be requested to pay attention to this matter.
