The Okoke appointment was recommended to be held over, and liuriinoana and Tahora left with the chairman. The committee finßer recommended that Hiss Alice Bollinger be appointed cadette in the Board's ullices. OTIIEK BUSINESS. The Chief Inspector recommended I!i< erection of a new school at I'ukeho load, where there were now I! 1 children of •ehool age and H> under age. lie considered the only solution of the dillicullv of accommodation at the Lepperton School lay in the enlargement of the infant room, lie recommended applying for a grant to cover the cost of the ivork.—The report was adopted. The Chief Inspector will visit, the Stanley school with regard to the i;omplaint of overcrowding, and the Chairman will act upon his report.
