YOUNG MEN'S INSTITUTE IN CAM]
Wanganui, Last Night. j The Easter camp of the Young Men's Bible Class Union and Institute of New Zealand opened to-day. About two hundred delegates arc present. The weather is splendid, and a very enjoyable time is being spent. The animal meeting was held this morning, at which the annual reports were adopted. It was resolved to send Mr. Troup a cable expressing appreciation of his services to the Union and the hope that his voyage would'"restore him to health. A resolution was also passed placing on record appreciation of the work of the' late Mr. Harry Rrummond. It was resolved not to form a Young Men's No-License League, but to urge upon the classes the desirability of heartily supporting the existing no-license organisations in the respective districts. In the afternoon Mr. \V. Gray, of AVellington, delivered a stirring address on " Responsibility." A good discussion followed. In the evening a mock parliament was held. Palmerston North, Last Night. The Easter camp of the Bible Cla-s Union is being held on the A. and I'. Association's grounds in beautiful weather. There are one hundred members in camp. This morning the Rev. C. E. Beeeroft gave a Bible study, and the Rev. H. Beggs held an Easter service. In the afternoon a conference was , held in the lecture-hall at the showi grounds, when papers were read by the , Rev. K. P. Blamires and Mr. G. C. , McFarlane, late secretary of the Union.
