Kefunds of contributions amounting to £4OB were made with respect to litty-four persons who had been contributors to the fund. An allowance of CIS a year was made to an enginedriver's widow, and £l3 a year to the posthumous child of a stationmaster. H is understood that the income of the fund last year was approximately •Col,oho, and that the payment's made from the fund amounted to £35,000.
