OKATO. In the evening alter tin* Okato sporta w<>re held a grand social took pinup in Hempton Hall, which was crowded. Dancing was the order of the evening, songs at intervals being contributed by Mr. 0. Evans, Miss Andrews, \V. Des Forgos, P. Boyle, J. Power, and others. 1 lie niusie was c-\<-'«dlent, Indng provided by Pountree's Orchestra, and a few extra daneo* were played by Miss A. Dayly. Mr, P. Boyle made a. very M.C. At midnight supper was banned round and was much enjoyed. Dancing was kept going until an hour or two before daylight. The total takings at the door amounted to £l7 2s Gd.
