The Takapuna is due from Wellington early this morning. She sails for Onchungm t,-night at the usual time. The Rotoiti sails for Wellington it noon to-day.
The West port Coal Company's collier ■ BeguliK is expected from Westport on Thursday with a cargo of coal. The Waitangi. nhich was unable to ■wort Waitara owing to the very lontide*, discharged her cargo at this port yesterday. She mailed last night at 8.31 o'clock for Kawhia anil Onehunga. The MuraUi sailed at noon yesterday , for Onehunga with 30 head of cattle. The Northern Company had three boats at the break-water yesterday—the - Rarawa, Muratai, and Waitangi. The Patea Shipping Company's new vessel which is to be built at Paisley by John Kullcrton and Co. is to be called the "Arapawa." says an exchange. She is to I* fitted with triple-expansion engines, and, it is said, will be faster than • any of the steamers at present employed jn the Patea trade.
