PERSONAL.
Mr. O. Deacon has returned from his holiday trip to Australia. Mr. A. 11. Amoore, formerly of the Upper Mangorei School, has 'been appointed sole teacher of tile Tataraimaka school. Mr. O. Deacon, instrurtov in building and machine construction at the New Plymouth Technical School, has returned from a trip to Australia. Mr. .1. Urown, county chairman, is (o represent the Taranak'i County Council on the deputation to wait upon the Government urging the more speedy construction of the Stratford-Oiigarnlie railway. Mr. R. Ellis, the county clerk, has been granted a month's leave of absence, find intends taking a trip to the West Coast of the South Island.
