William Com, secretary ofln* Otupo Employers' Asoeiation, flas forwarded the following telegram to the ~!'Vv Zealund Employers' Federation, Ucllington:—"The executive of the Otago Employers' Association recommend the advisory board of the Federation to at once wait upon the Minister and ascertain why an employer in Auckland has been so promptly imprisoned tor refusal to comply with a decision of the Court while so much leniency and procrastination in dealing with tie slaughtermen and Blackball miners has been shown, and tlie Denniston miner* ii lowed to defy the Act with impunity, ihe Act must either be enforced impartially ur amended or repealed."
