W aid, assistant postmaster, Dunedin to he postmaster at Palmerston North; Mr. S. Inder, postmaster, Palmerston North, to b e postmaster at Masterton (the grade of the Masterton office has hoen raised); Mr. T. Hester, postmaster, •Jiisterton, to bc postmaster at Lich-iu'ld-strcel. Christcliurch; Mr. T. Kirker postmaster, Liehfield-street, to be postmaster at Sumner; Miss Stewart, postimpress, Sumner, to be relieving postmistress for Wellington district; Mr C H. llurton, accountant, Chief Post Office llunedin, to bo assistant postmaster at Juncdin; Mr. K B. Stokes, chief clerk, Invercargill, to lie accountant at the Cliief Post Office, Dunedin; Mr. J C U.ile, second money order and savings' bank clerk, Wellington, to be chief clerk at Invercargill; Mr. Dale's successor will be announced later. The Invercargill post office is raised to the first rank. Hie status of the Palmerston North post ofhee has been raised under the new arrangements. Palmerston will bc a savings tank centre, enabling withdrawals to bc made direct from that oflicc.
