BRITISH SUBJECT IN RUSSIA.

St. Petersburg, April 1. Nicholas Lumnburg, a naturalised British subject, and a boot manufacturer's agent from Loudon, was arrested as a political suspect at Odessa and detained for a fortnight in a filthy prison.

He appealed to the British C'on-iil and was released. The authorities retained one-third of his money. Loxenhurg will claim indemnity. London, April 1. Questions on the matter of Luxenburg's imprisonment were asked in Parliament.
