WELLINGTON TOURNAMENT. Per Press Association. Wellington, Lust Night. The polo tournament was continued at Miramar this afternoon. The weather was favorable, and there was a fair number of spectators. An excellent game in the competition for the Savillc I'np took place between llawke's Bav ami Jlangaheia, the former winning by Tto 4. The play was exciting throughout. Nelson, for Hawke's Bay, played a magnificent game, scoring four of the seven goals for his side. Williams and Reynolds played well for Mangaeio. The only other g.ime was a handicap cup match between Bangitikei and Mannwatu. Hanigtikei had to concede Maimwatu four goals, but they notched four before Manawatu scored', so that from this out the chances were level. Mairiwatu played up well, and added live goals to their opponents' three, the game tlm s ending Manawatu !), Bangitikei 7.
ASSOCIATION'S AXNCAL MEETING. Wellington, Last Night/ The annual mooting of the New Zealand Polo As-ociatiou was held to-night. The balance-sheet showed a credit fur the year of *;« 12, 10,1. It was deeided to hold the next annual tournament at Palinerston North. Officers were elected as follows:—President. His Excellency the Governor; vice-president, Mr. I!. S. Abraham; committee, Messrs. A. H. Russell, D. 0. A, Cooper, S. Williamson, J. D. Kail, and R. L. Levin; secretary. Mr. C. J. Crawford; auditor, Mr. E. Rudiolz. Affiliation was granted to the Opotiki and Parcora clubs.
