NO-LICENSE CAMPAIGN.
IX AUCKLAND. Per Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At a meeting of the Auckland Province No-License Council to-night the following resolutions were carried:— "That this Council views with satisfaction the official declaration signed by the Mayor and 100 professional men of Invercargill testifying to the success of no-license in that city, which plainly indicates that Invercargill experiments can be safely followed by other electorates in the Dominion, and the Council expresses the belief that the official statement will effectively contradict, !f not stop, the false reports circulated by interested ]iersons to the discredit ot the no-license movement."
