' The cheap lands in the Thames Valley arc now attracting the attention of Taranaki farmers. Last night Mr. E. Gilmour, of Gilmour and Clarke, left for Auokland with three buyers from different parts of this province to inspect the Thames and other land which have been placed in the firm's hands for sale. Costumes for street, afternoon, and Sunday wear, in greens, browns, wines, navys, mixed tweeds, and greys, and in different varieties of styles, arc on show at White and Sons'. They are just the right samples of those 'garments of utility that aTc so pleasing to womankind. In costumes this season they have as extensive an assortment as ever before.
