Auckland, Saturday Night. There am now seventeen clubs affiliated to the local Bowling Association, and a movement is on foot to further extend the functions of tlie Association m such a way that it is anticipated more than 20 clubs will l,c affiliated to, the Association in the near future.
Dunedin, Last Night. The team of bowlers about to tour Australia liad what might be ealled a test game with strongly-foniied rinks l epiesenting Dunedin Centre yesterday prior to their departure for Australia to-day. The match was played on the Kuituna green, six rinks of which were
occupied by those taking part in the match. At the conclusion, of the game, which refilled in favor of Dunedin by U points, the chairman of the Centre "I'oke a few words of adieu to the team, ami expressed the hope that its tour would lie pleasant and successful. Mr. I'. J. Payne, who ea plained the last New Zealand representative team, spoke in similar terms, and Mr. 1 lain, in whose charge the team travels, replied.
