MOA ROAD BOARD.

At the ordinary monthly meeting of the Moa Road Board, held on. Saturday, there were present:—Messrs H. Trimble (chairman), Capper, Chard, Lawrence, Corkill, .Marsh, Young, C'hamney, lloby, On the motion of JJr Capper, it was , decided to pay A. It was resolved that Mr. Surrey be requested to pay 2d per 100 ft for ail logs carted to' his mill over the Everett road. _ The contractors were given permission to cart metal from (he pit over the Lincoln, road, providing they put on an extra inch of metal and repair any damage that may be done by Hie carting to the satisfaction of the Board's engineer, It was resolved that the bridge on the Bedford road should bo screwed up and tarred. The engineers (.Messrs. Orbell and Jlaekny) reported that satisfactory progress had been made on the various contracts under their supervision. Accounts amounting to £707 12s Cd were passed for payment.
