I am decidedly ill favor of placing a larg.-r sum on tlxe estimates for the purpose of kerbing and channeling with concrete and making permanent footpaths in the Borough. lie the Electric Light, Water Supply, and Drainage: I know the Council gets attacks from many quarters. 1 am not an expert, but shall use common-sense in dealing with those matters. 1 have no axe to grind, but a desire to devote my time and energy to making the town attractive to the increasing population and the large influx of travellers; and, if elected, 1 promise to devote all the time and attention required of such a high position.
