~ A CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. ' St. Petersburg, March 18. 5 General Foek's challenge to General Smirnoff for paving reflected ou his honor during the Port Arthur court, martial, was accepted. A duel was fought. General Smirnoff was severely wounded. A PISTOL DUEL. 1 SEVERAL LADIES PRESENT. Received 20th, 12,60 a.m. St. Petersburg, March ID, The duel was with pistols ait 15 paces. General Smirnoff's second shot traversed General Foek's coat. General Foek's third shot wounded his adversary in the abdomen. Several ladies were present.
