GOVERNOR RETIRES.
INSULTED BY AGITATORS AND POLITICIANS. Vancouver, March 17. The attitude of the Hon, H. Dunsmuir, Governor of British Columbia, on the question of Japanese immigration has led Labor agitators and politicians to throw insults at him. In consequence of these insults, Mr. Dunsmuir is retiring from office, after having sold his mining to a British syndicate for £3,000,000.
