THE PREMIER'S INTERVENTION. STRIKERS ARRESTED. Sydney, March 18. After seeing the representatives of the costal companies. Premier Wade communicated with the president of the Waterside Workers' Union and asked' him to put before the strike committee a,proposal to refer the dispute to arbitration. The committee declined to agree to this course, but was prepared to meet the coastal companiee in conference! Three strikers have been arrested on charges arising out of yesterday's demonstration at the wharves.
