Before daybreak on Sunday, a dozen Veaideats of Port-au-Prince were dragged from their homes and summarily shot by order of General Leeonte, Minister of the Interior, on a charge of conspiring In favor of General Kirmin.
Many revolutionist* have taken refuge to th« French and German Legations. The Government demand their surrender, alleging the conspiracy was hatched fe the Consulates.
The French cruiser Distress has been ordered to Gonaives, the German cruiser Bremen, and the British cruiser, Cressv and Indefatigable have been ordered to Hayti from Jamaica.

WASHINGTON'S OPINION

New York, March 17. The authorities at Washington consider that Hayti ought to be allowed to put its house m order without the interference of the consuls at Gonaives, who are trying to arrange for the removal of refugees from the legations.
