Received March 18, 0.54 a.m. Sydney, March 17. Representatives from the three coastal companies waited on the Premier to carry on business because mob rule and staled that they were nnablo prevailed round the wharves. They hoped the Premier would l>e able to place the dispute before" a competent tribunal for settlement. The Premier promised to do all he could. 1 The strikers actively picket the wharves to prevent non-unionists worki ing. i fflie police force lias been strengthened at troublesome points.
