The Goverament at Pekm on Friday Expressed its deep regret at the removal Of the Japanese flag and promised to punish thc official implicated. Thc Chinese Government also offered to reply farther regarding the seizure of arms fjsi ammunition. ' JAPAN GREATLY EXCITEQ " Received 9th, 10.40 p.m. ~ London, March 9. Thc Times' Tokio correspondent reports that tho nation is greatly excited over the Tatsumaru seizure. The Japanese consignor and Portuguese consignee strictly complied with all legal formalities.
