ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Wellington, Saturday. The Court, which inquired into the death of Angus lUcKinnon, who fell off the Wurrimoo's rail at sea on January 21, found that deceased was working on the rail in disobedience of orders given him hy his chief officer, and that no blame is attachable to the ship's officers.
Auckland, Saturday. Henry Cook, an old Auckland resident, and a member of the firm of T. and H. Cook, cabinetmakers and upholsterers, was knocked won by a tram in Symonds street early last evening and killed instantaneously. Tie was walking home. As he crossed Symonds street his back was party turned towards the ear, which was coming down the hill-. When the cw was pulled up the body was found hanging to a wnwl-Wox by the cjoat collar.
