Acceptances and General Entries, SATURDAY, 27th March, at 8 p.m. The winner or any flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOlbs, of 2 or more such races 1411 m. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the "Secretary, Manaia," with the name, age, color, and pedigree of 'he horse, name of owner, colors of rider, performances ot the horses, and name of trainer. Entries by wire must be confirmed in writing at the earliest opportunity. All races to be run under the rules of racing as adopted by the Racing Conference of New Zealand. Owners are particularly reminded that all entries must be accompunied by cash, cheque, or P.O. Order. This rule will re strictly enforced. Only members of the Bookmakers' Association or Tattersall's will be permitted to ply their calling on tne course on the day of the races, and they will be charged a fee of 6 guineas for this privilege.
