Per Press Association. Najier, Last Night. < At the Supreme Court to-day, llicliai's Charles Jones, charged; with stealing, was remanded for medical examination. A young native,-Rangi Kingi Epahi, who pleaded guilty to forgery and uttering was remanded for Sentence. Luther Martin Murray was found guilty of assault with intent to rob, and waß remanded until further charges of sheepstealing are heard. A young man, Percy .fones, pleaded guilty to robbery from, the person, and was remanded for the probation officer's report. Napier, Tuesday. > Hugh Hamilton was sentenced to four year for indecent assault on a child at |\\ oodviile, "I make that punishment," his Xjonor said, ''because it is deserved, and in "the hope it will be a warning to other evil-minded men like you." Wellington, Tuesday. Mr. Justice Edwards to-day sentenced Jolin Morrell to eighteen months' hard labor a charge of uttering. Robert Smythc ,a youth, pleaded guilty to a charge of forgery and uttering at New Plymouth, and was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment.
