WOIIX OLTT WITH WORK. Received J''eb. 27, 11.47 p.m. Sydney, February 27. Archdeacon Abbott, of Tamworth, in sending in his resignation to the Bishop of the Diocese, pointed out that in five years he had received ,t1!)52 from the parish and expended on its work £1730. He had been unable to save any money out of which to replace necessary things. After five year's wear and tear he was almost worn out.
