MACEDONIA AND THE POWERS
DEBATE IN THE LORDS. London, February 20. During the debut* in the House of Lords on Macedonian affairs, lord Ktumauriec hinted that some of the Powers feared that judicial reform was not by itself what was most urgently needed to stop the outrages and suppress the brigand bands. Some more effective proposal ought to be forthcoming. Lord Lansdowne said he gathered that Britain was keeping an observant attitude.
