The Finance Committee recommended tluit the interior of the Card'U school be re-painted, but that the work be held over until the Easter holidays; that the tender of J. 11. Householders in tile, Egniont and Upland road district petitioned for the partition of the Bell school district, so as to form two new school districts, Upland and Kgmont—Meetings will be called to discuss the boundaries and elect committees: Kgmont school, Monday, tltli prox.; Upland school, Tuesday, 10th prox. RESERVES. The Reserves Committee's report embodied the, remarks of Mr. 11. Eaull upon the following reserves personally inducted by him:—Pukcaruhe, Lincoln, part (iU Pukearuhe. Urenui town sections, and section 4, block 4, Waitara. The report was adopted, with the exception of section 20, block 12, Lincoln road, which matter was referred to the chairman to deal with.
