KEIR HARDIE MOBBED.
Johannesburg, February 17. A crowd mobbed Mr. Keir Hardic when ho arrived at the Johannesburg railway station, lie was pelted with eggs, tomatoes, and stones. The police protected him and enabled him to escape unhurt. THE AGITATOR CRIED DOWN. PELTED WITH DECAYED EGGS, ETC. Received IRth, 9-28 p.m. Johannesburg, February 18. Mr. Keir Hardie's attempt to address a meeting at Johannesburg was a complete fiasco. The crowd refused to hear a word. They pelted Kier Hardic with rotten eggs and tomatoes, and threw nauseating drugs on the platform. Keir Hardic issued a pamphlet instead.
