THE PRO*.' TOUR. PROFESSIONAL ROUGHS. London, February 17. The New Zealand football team will play St. Helens next Saturday. It is understood that each of th« players in the team will rereive tlso for the tour, in addition to hotel expenses and the allowance of £1 per week. Smith has joined the Oldham Club, and Todd has joined Wigan. Comments appear in the newspapers on the roughness of both sides during the match played last Saturday at Cheltenham. The Daily Expres» says: "For its brutal tactics the game was a disgrace fo sTofearimal football. The re* feree ordered one of the Xew Zealanders off the field for fighting, and separated another New Zeakinder and an opponent who were fighting."
