Napier, Last Night, the police have been advised that a native named Kine Hutana was fouud at Woodville last evening shot throiHi the breast, with a gun beside him, the circumstances suggesting suicide. Hutuia was out on bail on a charge of petty theft, and was also suspected of a further theft. Deceased was interviewed by a constable at Porangahau on Thursday last, and, after the interview, he stole the constable's horse and "Dt away. The rifle, with which the deed was committed is also supposed to have been stolen.
