NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. BAND CONTEST AT NEW PLYMOUTH And SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP AT WANGANUI. 0* 22nd and 24th February extra mail trains will leave Palmerston 12.35 p.m., Wanganui 3.35 p.m., for New Plymouth. Leave New Plymouth 7.25 a.m. for Wanganui. On 23th February special train will leave New Plymouth 4.30 a.m., Sentry Hill 4.5(1 a.m., for Wanganui, returning from Wanganui B.i,> p.m. for New Plymouth. The usual 4.15 p.m. train New Plymouth to liawera will lie delayed to leave New Plymouth 5.45 p.m., Senlry Hill 6.15 p.m., for liawera and Waitara. On 2Gth February special train leaves New Plymouth 10.30 p.m., Sentry Ilill 11.0 p.m., for Waitara and liawera. On 27th February special trains will leave Hawera 7.55 a.m. and 12.0 noon for New Plymouth. The usual 4.15 p.m. train will be delayed to leave New Plymouth at 5.15 p.m. for Waitara and Hawera. Special train will leave New Plymouth at 5.45 p.m. for Hawera. On 28th February special, train leaves New Plymouth 10.30 p.m. for Waitara and Hawera. HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS, available for return till 7th March, will be issued to NEW PLYMOUTH from Wanganui, Whareroa, and intermediate stations from 22nd February to 27th February, and by morning trains on 28th February; from Hawera and intermediate stations, including stations on Toko Branch, from 24th February to 28th February. Excursion tickets to New Plymouth (except bandsmen's from south of Wanganui) will not be available by ordinary mail trains till after 2!>th' February. EXCURSION TICKETS available for return till 7th March will be issued to WANGANUI from New Plymouth and intermediate stations from 22ml to 24th February and by morning special trains on 25tli February.
