THE WEBB-TRESIDDER RACE.

Per Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. Webb and Tresidder are still being favored with ideal weather for their training operations. On Saturday morning the champion went over the whole course, two miles being done very solidly. In the afternoon he went up-stream about three miles at an easy pace. Today he again did fairly solid work, but no really fast sculling will be indulged in till Wednesday. Tresidder was out as usual yesterday, and to-day, paced by Ford, he covered the full distance at a good pace, but he, like Webb, is not extending himself. Both men are in capital health. The final deposit of £2OO was made on Saturday.
