Ve, teniae afternoon a water poiu mUTch took place-m the baths between teams representative of New Plymouth and Stratford. The day being" Stratford and district holiday, there was a very large attendance*. The teams were:—

On the throw-Off Stratford got the ball, but were not allowed to retain it long. Brown got possession and had a try at goal, which .Masters stopped.
