STRANDED BULGARIANS.
NEW ZEALAND EMIGRANTSAN AWKWARD POSITION. Received 11th, 1.25 a.m. Sydney, January 10. The State Premier states that /lis attention has been drawn to the fact that a number of Bulgarians have landed here and are stranded, being unable to get employment. It seems that the men, who are of European extraction, jnostly Bulgarians, were induced by some person or persons to emigrate to New Zealand. So far as can be ascertained they have been shipped by the Gorman or French lines, but as they are unable to pass the test, the shipping companies refused to carry them on to the Dominion. They have left here. More are expected within the next few months. Mr. Wade has placed the facts before Mr. Dcakin, Federal Premier.
