I The Conciliation Board met this morning to consider the painters' lit the claim-, tin* miployeiV representative Nlid \\v,W they ' lia<! decided not to work more than -lit hours weekly. The employers' representative said that in the face of tin* demands he did not think it worth while wasting ihe time of the Board considering them further. Mr. O'Regan (chairman of the Board) said t h;it the time had now gone past when they could talk of carrying the dispute to the Arbitration Court. The Board had now to proceed with the matter, and he suggested a conference between the partus. The suggestion was adopted.
