IRISH MANUFACTURERS' SAFEGUARD. Received (ith, 11.12 pan. London, February !>. Aliout eighteen months ago, a national trademark was adopted by Ireland which only manufacturers in Ireland can use. i Lord Elgin now invites the Commonwealth to consider a suggestion that the Irish trademark be accepted as evidence of the origin of the goods bearing it.
