A PECULIAR CASE.
; Melbourne, February 4. The police at Terang are investigating a peculiar case in which a young woman received a letter inciting her to kill hex child as a preliminary to her (carriage with a young man. Accompanying the letter was a package containing strychnine, with full directions bow to administer it. The quantity was sufficient to kill several babies.
