Each stop must measure the length of llit I'uot apart. l)o not take short, choppy steps, ltemeiuber that a short, indolent gait is not exercise; in t"net, you are repeating little more than a minor action that takes place from the knee down. No exercise is more health-producing than a long walk, governed by certain rules that must necessarily be observed. With the step draw iu a deep breath, slowly exhaling. The value ot walking as an exercise and tor graceful carnage depends entirely upon assuming tne correct position and in taking deep, chest-expanding breaths.
