DINIZULU'S TRIAL.

London -fnnuary 30. A Blue Book shows that there was a divergence of opinion lictween Lord Elgin, Secretary for the Colonies, and the Natal Government regarding the measures to he taken to suppress the Zulu rising. Mr Nathan, in a despatch, said he desired to make it clear that Natal's Ministry had never intended to try Dinizulti by court-martial or otherwise than by criminal procedure. DAMNING EVIDENCE.

CHARGED WITH MURDER. | Received 31st, 9.30 p.m. . Durban, January 31. The chief Mangati, who yesterday was sentenced to five years' imprisonment for public violence, testified that Dini-i zulu instigated Bambaata to rebel, pro-' mining that if all the Natal tribes joined he would come to their assistance.' The witness believed Dinizulu instigated all the murders during and after the rebellion. A warrant charging him with murder has been served on Dinizulu.
