Sydney, January 31. For some months the "bears" had had it all their own way with Broken Hill mine shares, but yesterday a revulsion set in. On the Commonwealth exchange there was something like a panic in the rush to obtain scrip, which was heavily oversold. Prices fluctuated violently. The aapital value of eight Broken Hil| mines advanced in the aggregate over' £IIOO,OOO. The proprietary mine alone is appraised at over a quarter of a million advance on Wednesday's value.
