THE THAW TRIAL.
A SCATHING INDICTMENT. THAW'S DEPRAVITY. Received 31st, 9.49 p,m. New York, January 31. Mr. Jerome, Public Prosecutor, in a scathing indictment of Thaw's-conduct, said that he had plenty of evidence as to his depravity, but none regarding his insanity. He sought to shield his miserable life behind hiß wife's shame. Mr. Jerome asked whether a business man like Mr. Schwab, of the. Steel Trusty would have played cards with a man irrational or insane. Mr. Littleton's (Thaw's counsel's) plea was that Thaw was insane before and after the tragedy. The judge sums up to-day.
