POOLING BRITISH RAILWAYS.
MINISTER STEPS IN.
Received Jan. 28, 11.45 p.m. London, January 28. Mr. Lloyd George, President of the British Board of Trade, is opposing the Great Northern and Great Central pooling, on the grounds that, an amalgamation was not contemplated when Parliament sanctioned their working arrangement.
