PERSONAL.
Mr S. Dyson has been appointed assistant master at the Stratford school. •Mr. A. Inglis MasCallum, a Scottish veterinarian, has been visiting Taranaki, and under the tutelage, of Captain Young has seen a good deal of the country. Whilst there are some things about New Zealand that he does not like, he proclaims that we have "the finest climate in the world." At the recent examinations of the NewZealand Accountants' and Auditors' Association, the successful local candidates were Mr. T. G. A. Harle (Union Bank, New Plymouth), who passed the Associate examination, and Messrs T. L. Buxton (Sqw Plymouth), and C. H. Potts (Stratford),' who obtained partial passes in the Associate's grade. Mr j Harle is probably the youngest Associate in tlie colony, being still under 18 years of age.
