Meanwhile the further proceedings in connection with the appeal of the company against the fine of X.ofmjJW are dragging through the courts.
Last September the Standard Oil Company wae fined -£)}WOflW dollars for accepting rebates from the Chicago-Alton Railway. The company appealed against the decision of the. court.
